I sailed at Hove from 7:30am and it was sweet side shore on a 5.5m and wave board. Bit of down the line on open swells and a few nifty shorebreak rides. Almost got mullered into a concrete groyne and rusty post on one, but survived. It was high tide but shorebreak was not too bad at all. Waves were waist high with the occasional set wave bigger, ramping up for a swooping bottom turn further out. No one else out, so a bit lonely. Well worth the early start and definately the right place for that WSW wind.
